While A35 is oceanfront offering unobstructed views of the ocean, B31 is ocean view and ideal if you love people watching on Honl’s beach.

Honl’s beach, located at Wai’aha beach park is a local’s beach, well known for surfers. In fact, boogie boarding was invented here. On July 9, 1971, Tom Morey who resided across the street, took a hand-crafted piece of polyethylene foam to the waves outside and the rest is history.

The oasis at Honl’s is inviting, with patches of sand and grass shaded by beautiful coconut palms. The beach offers a lava rock entry and white sandy bottom. Most of the year the beach is not crowded but you can usually find more visitors in high season from Mid-October through April.
