Condo: A35 - Mahalo for allowing us to stay in your beautiful, oceanfront condo! This was our first visit to the big Island and we loved the Kona reef location to enjoy the sights. The snorkeling was the best we’ve seen and the trip to Volcano national Park was such a treat. We saw red, hot lava boiling in a lava lake! When we visit this island again, we hope you will be able to stay in this condo again!

Condo: A35 - We had the most wonderful two weeks at Kona Reef in June 2017. The entire condo was clean and comfortable, the kitchen had absolutely everything you need.. The bed was so comfy and the room quiet and cool to sleep. Our favorite part of the condo was the lanai. We had coffee and breakfast there each morning and cocktails and dinner most evenings. There was always something to see on the ocean directly in front of you. Boogie boarders, net fishing, crab collecting, beautiful sunsets, watching the Kona Canoe Club paddle by every evening, 8-10 of them either racing or practicing. Also saw a Hawaiian sailboat each evening that was beautiful to watch against the setting sun.
We explored the entire big island by day and were always so happy to have such a beautiful place to come home to. It is a great location for a home base. We did not turn on the tv but there is a big screen if you want it. We had reservations to end our Hawaii vacation at Hapuna Beach Resort but we cancelled and were able to extend our stay at Kona Reef; nothing could have been better. We were able to walk to Huggos on the Rocks for happy hour and live music and Don's Mai Tai Bar for the same. An area with many restaurants and shops is in walking distance so that was great also. Don't miss TJ's BBQ at the marketplace, delicious! You won't go wrong with this condo, we hope to be back again soon. The picture is from the lanai, it's the only one I have on my IPad as I write! Condo: B31 - Fabulous! We really enjoyed staying at this condo while vacationing on the Big Island in September, 2016. We found the condo to be immaculate when we arrived and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. The furnishings are clean and the unit is tastefully decorated. It is like being at home with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area with a large TV, a cozy bedroom, and a new bath with all the trimmings. We enjoyed eating on the lanai while gazing at the surf. The condo is only a short distance from the airport and it is within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in Kona. Communicating with Wendy & Rusty is very easy -- they are so helpful with sharing ideas of places to visit while in Kona and recommending restaurants for dining. It was perfect for us -- we would return in a heartbeat!
