About Us

We traveled all over the world and never felt as much at home and at peace as we do in Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. After visiting the first time, we fell in love. The next time, we came back for the ‘fun’. Then, we started shopping for our own piece of paradise and we purchased two beautiful vacations condos. Obviously, Kona Reef was the only choice for us.

Our condos are owned by us, Rusty and Wendy Reinoehl, so we are family owned and operated. Rusty and I were born and raised in Southern California. Married, with 5 kids and 5 grand-kids (so far!). Both of us work hard and love to come to Kona to relax and explore this beautiful island.

Kona Reef Resort is the premiere condo complex in Kailua-Kona. The oceanfront complex has a beautiful ocean view from the pool and BBQ pavilion. If you want to put your toes in the sand, Honl’s Beach is right next door. You can relax and watch the surfers or join in!
